What you need to know about the New CustomerHub

As I sit here writing this post my heart is filled with gratitude and excitement.

Gratitude for the amazing journey that I have been on with CustomerHub over the past ten years; including all of its many wonderful customers, partners, and users. It's been an amazing ride. I still remember the day that my brother Nate and I decided to create the first version of CustomerHub one summer day in 2008 during a short lunch break in a makeshift office at Mom's house. What we created initially was a simple account portal that provided Infusionsoft users a simple way to collect payments and updated credit card information from their customers. That little app quickly transformed into the leading membership site product for Infusionsoft users, and was later acquired by Infusionsoft in October 2011. Pretty cool...and fun.

Excitement because I know there is a much bigger and better journey that lies ahead for CustomerHub. Our new CustomerHub platform, CustomerHub Next, will be a force to be reckoned with in the course and membership software industry for years to come. It offers a unique and much needed blend of functionality at a tremendously valuable price point.

So, with all of that being said, what exactly is coming, when is it coming, and what else do you need to know about it?

What is coming?

CustomerHub Next is a game-changer for coaches, consultants, experts, and influencers because it allows them to publish a professional online course or membership in 30 minutes or less without any disruption to (or overlap with) their existing tech stack. The product can be used as a standalone or be easily plugged in to existing tools and apps. No complex or costly installations, data migrations, implementations, or integrations.

It's also simple enough for low-tech entrepreneurs to use on their own, flexible enough for techno-geeks to fully customize, and powerful enough for bigwigs who need to support massive crowds. It incorporates many years of wisdom and experience in the course and membership industry from many thousands of experts and entrepreneurs. In short, CustomerHub Next is a next level course and membership software that will work for many more small businesses.

When is it coming?

Very, very soon. We are working to deliver an open beta by the end of the year. We are currently in closed beta and are working to tie up a few loose ends before it will become available for commercial use. Frankly, it can't come soon enough for anyone, including us.

What else do you need to know?

I know you probably have a long list of questions. We have attempted to address the most common ones we've heard here.

Most importantly, what I need you to know is:

  1. We are committed to you. Two years ago, after we acquired CustomerHub back from Keap/Infusionsoft, I told all of our customers that there was a bright future in store for CustomerHub. I said we would focus on the following priorities: mobile, modern templates, and online courses. I can stand here today and tell you that we have done that, and we're about to do so in an even bigger and better way. I want you to know that you can count on us to continue to innovate and make decisions based on your best interests. That's what we are going to do.
  2. We are committed to a great product. While it will be awesome right out of the gate, it will not be perfect. We're looking forward to working with you to smooth out any rough edges and make the product truly amazing. Remember that the first version only represents the tip of the iceberg, and we are committed to delivering a market leading product for years to come.

In closing...

To our current customers: THANK YOU for sticking with us through this transition. You are about to get rewarded big time.

To our past customers: THANK YOU for your past business and I'm sorry we're no longer together. We're ready to welcome you back into the CustomerHub family with something that will knock your socks off.

To our partners: THANK YOU for your trust and partnership in serving our many customers together. You rock, and I'm confident the new product will allow you to serve your customers even more powerfully.
